Our founder Hagar Affify, M.A., BCBA, LBA

Our founder Hagar Affify's story is one of dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. Hagar’s path to founding Extraordinary Minds ABA started long before the first therapy session was ever conducted. While volunteering in special education classrooms through high school, she began to notice the gaps and services for children with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This sparked a desire to learn more about how to support these children and help them thrive.

Experienced, board certified expert

Driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference, Hagar earned her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where she gained a deep understanding of the science of behavior and its power to bring about lasting, positive change. Through years of training and working directly with children, Hagar discovered the transformative impact of ABA therapy in real-world settings. Throughout her career, Hagar worked with children and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, homes, clinics and daycares. Each success, no matter how small, reinforced her belief that ABA could be a powerful tool for change.

From the very beginning, we've focused on building strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to continue supporting their children's development at home.
